PCI Pal, a secure payment solution provider, has launched PCI Pal Digital, a tool designed to help retailers achieve PCI compliance for payments across digital channels including webchat, social media, email and SMS.
PCI Pal Digital works by letting shoppers request the ability to make a payment on their preferred channel. The software then generates a URL that directs the customer to a secure page where they can enter their payment details, with the goal of letting retailers track progress in real-time to enable a seamless customer experience no matter where the purchase comes from.
The new software can be integrated into existing payment service platforms and combined with other PCI Pal tools, including:
- Agent Assist, which aims to provide a secure system for accepting payment information over the phone; and
- IVR Payments, which is designed to help shoppers to make secure payments with speaking to a live agent or accessing their web site.
