Journey + Jacobs recently completed the interior design of Nouvelle Wine Bottle + Bar located in Louisville, Ky. The overall design concept was to tell a story using strong color, a mix of pattern in wallpapers and to add a modern and eclectic mix of art.

The owners and design team wanted Nouvelle to feel like a Parisian wine bar—modern, but French and masculine and feminine at the same time. The blue was inspired by a front door on a building in Paris, something carried out through the entire space.
