Namesake Studio

By The Namesake, a luxury custom leather brand, has launched “Namesake Studio” — an interactive space that functions as a showroom, production facility, photography studio, event and retail space.

The brand’s founder, Rosa Halpern, wanted to create a unique concept studio that would not only provide a haven for her team, but also serve as a dynamic space that clients and fellow creatives within the industry could use. With the help of Ali Budd, owner of Ali Budd Interiors, and Ryan Gibson, Halpern’s fiancé and owner of Against The Grain Remodelling, the team transformed an industrial shipping warehouse into a leather wonderland.

“The design is largely inspired by the rock ‘n’ roll feel of the brand and we aimed to create an edgy, thoughtfully designed studio that would serve its many functions,” Budd said. “The goal of an interactive open space was to spark creativity and allow for open dialogue with clients.”
