Foko has released a visual messaging app that enables retail teams to share photos when communicating internally, from the company headquarters all the way down to the store level.
The messaging app’s photo assignment feature allows sales staff to submit photos of merchandising and displays according to directions provided by regional managers or headquarters. Upon sending the messages, users can receive immediate visual feedback through the app.
The app also enables retail users to:

-
Take, share and classify pictures of displays, whether for best practices or to indicate which ones need to be fixed;
-
Comment on specific photos and visually mark up images to ensure directives are followed precisely;
-
Ask floor staff to collect specific photos — from one to thousands of stores or people; and
-
Keep track of what is happening in stores without having to physically be present.
“Being able to share photos in this way is a game-changer,” said a spokesperson at Whole Foods. “We can suddenly see what others are doing in real time, collaborate on those ideas and constantly make improvements. Our employees are really excited about this way of working together and how it helps them better serve our customers.”
