RetailMeNot has appointed Joshua Platt as Chief Product Officer. Platt most recently served as VP of Product for Nordstrom.com, where he led a team responsible for digital product experiences across Nordstrom.com, the retailer’s mobile apps and its physical stores. Under his leadership, Nordstrom’s annual e-Commerce sales grew from $4 billion to $6 billion in three years.
Platt also oversaw personalization efforts related to machine learning-powered product sorting and product recommendations. Nordstrom was on track to exceed $1 billion in personalization-related sales for 2018, according to Platt’s LinkedIn profile.
Prior to his four-year tenure at Nordstrom, Platt spent 11 years at Microsoft in various product leadership roles, including Director of Product for its Azure cloud and server business and Director of Product for Microsoft.com.

RetailMeNot also promoted Scott Sundheim to Senior VP of North America Marketing, and Seth Randle to Chief Counsel and Compliance Officer. Sundheim, formerly VP of Marketing, has been with RetailMeNot since 2012. He has held a variety of marketing positions at the Kellogg Company, building CPG brands including Pop-Tarts, Keebler Cookies, Cheez-It and Nutri-Grain.
Randle previously served as VP of Legal for RetailMeNot, and currently also serves as Chief IP Counsel for Harland Clarke Holdings, RetailMeNot’s parent company.
Platt, Sundheim and Randle will report to Marissa Tarleton, CEO of RetailMeNot. Tarleton was promoted from CMO to CEO in January 2018, with Founder Cotter Cunningham becoming Chairman.
