Specialty foods retailer Hickory Farms has appointed Diane Pearse as its new President and CEO. Pearse succeeds Mark S. Rodriguez, who stepped down from the role.
Prior to joining Hickory Farms, Pearse served as COO and Executive VP of Finance at Garrett Brands, LLC. Previously, she held the role of Senior VP of Operations and Merchandising at Redbox, where she led the company’s field operations, technical support center, inventory and logistics function, and strategy and analytics team.
“Diane’s proven track record of data-driven business growth and innovation and her extensive and diverse leadership experience with consumer brands makes her the perfect candidate to lead Hickory Farms,” said David Veenstra, Hickory Farms Board Member and Modjule, LLC Partner, in a statement. Modjule, LLC, a Chicago-Based private investment company, acquired Hickory Farms in November 2015.
