Clarus Commerce has appointed Derek Sasaki as Chief Technical Officer. In this role, Sasaki will lead the company’s technology innovation initiatives, with a focus on enhancing the loyalty program.
In his previous roles, Sasaki served as EVP, Technology at Verde Energy, a retail energy supply company; and SVP, Technology at dLife, an online resource platform for diabetes patients, their caregivers and healthcare providers, where he ran both in-house and remote technology teams.
“I’m thrilled to return to my roots in the e-Commerce space,” said Sasaki in a statement. “As online retail continues to grow, companies are looking for new and better ways to help improve customer engagement. I’m looking forward to helping the team enhance the [Premium Loyalty] program, add new features and expand the reach of loyalty programs that work.”
