The North Face, an outdoor apparel retailer, launched VIPeak, a customer rewards loyalty program from TIBCO, a provider of infrastructure management software. Based on the TIBCO Loyalty Lab Reward platform, VIPeak allows the retailer’s loyalty members to earn “PeakPoints” for their purchases, participation in local activities and social media channels.
Every year in February, qualifying members (those with 10,000+ PeakPoints) can choose from an array of experiential rewards in The North Face VIPeak Rewards Catalog. “PeakPoints” can be redeemed for VIP adventures, future event entries or cash back credit at The North Face, according to a TIBCO press release.
The North Face developed VIPeak to continue to help customers explore and “push their personal limits,” according to Aaron Carpenter, VP of Global Marketing at The North Face. “We have very active, passionate, and inspiring customers and we wanted our first loyalty program to not only reward them for doing what they love, but also engage more closely with them on a year-round basis and show them just how important they are to us. Initial feedback has been positive and we’re excited to see how people participate in the program.”
