Universal Surveillance Systems, a designer and manufacturer of loss prevention systems and products, has launched RetailORC.org, a web site dedicated to fighting organized retail crime (ORC). The site provides a centralized information resource and collaboration forum for industry experts on all aspects of ORC. Its goal is “to unite people from various industries, businesses and professions into an effective, knowledgeable force equipped to thwart the growing ORC menace,” said Adel Sayegh, President and CEO of USS, in a press statement.
RetailORC.org brings together retail, law enforcement, legislative, prosecutorial, judicial and loss prevention professionals by providing a host of relevant ORC data in one place; the purpose of this uniform network is to combat ORC through education, information sharing and advocacy. The non-commercial site does not endorse any company or product. Its content is contributed by industry professionals and companies focused on fighting ORC. There is no cost for site access.
