The combined platform also has helped the retailer gain additional insight into its sales.
By using SmartShyp, Jane.com gains access to Pitney Bowes Complete Shipping APIs. Platform benefits include:
- Built-in automation for faster order-to-label processing;
- Tracking and visibility for the status of shipments; and
- Guaranteed delivery on USPS Priority Mail shipments.
Additionally, the solution lets Jane.com pay its sellers as soon as a package is in transit, due to real-time tracking. This capability has helped small retailers by eliminating out-of-pocket shipping expenses and letting them ship larger quantities of goods.
