ID Analytics, a provider of consumer risk management solutions, today unveiled a new suite of fraud detection solutions designed to address the needs of e-Commerce retailers. The new solution was developed to help online merchants utilize information beyond standard rules and internal transactional data to drive conversions and reduce fraud, according to a company press release.
The ID Analytics e-Commerce suite will provide retailers access to the ID Network, which delivers cross-industry consumer behavioral data in real time. This information will help online merchants improve fraud detection efforts.
Offerings available in the ID Analytics e-Commerce suite include:

- Transaction Protector, which is a transaction fraud score designed specifically for the e-Commerce market. The score incorporates identity and online transaction data, and can help retailers identify more than 80% of fraud charge-back losses in the riskiest 2% of transactions.
- Transaction Advanced Intelligence, or a series of attributes that deliver granular risk insight on an online transaction from the ID Network in real time. Retailers can tap these insights in their custom analytic solutions and manual investigations.
- Transaction Takeover, which empowers retailers to detect when an online account is being taken over by a “fraudster,” and identify the type of device being used: a desktop, mobile or tablet device.
“Fraudsters are becoming increasingly sophisticated, and e-Commerce retailers still encounter too many false positives when screening for potential fraud,” said Aaron Kline, Director of e-Commerce at ID Analytics. “ID Analytics partners with merchants to help them fight fraud while ensuring that no additional friction is introduced into the online customer experience. This new suite of products leverages our unique data platform and is specifically designed to help e-Commerce merchants maximize conversion by accurately separating true fraud from false positives and detecting when an online account is compromised.”
