GNC will host socially-distant cookie booths at select locations in support of Girl Scouts of the USA’s annual Girl Scout Cookie Program. The retailer is scheduling more than 20,000 Girl Scout Booth Days, during which local troops will sell cookies from a safe booth at a GNC store.
“We admire the entrepreneurial spirit of Girl Scouts and are proud to have another opportunity to support the preeminent leadership development organization for girls in the United States,” said Rachel Jones, VP, Global Brand at GNC in a statement. “Particularly in these challenging times, when Girl Scouts are finding creative, socially distanced and contact-free ways to sell their cookies, we look forward to offering spaces for the 2021 Girl Scout Cookie Season. Girl Scout Cookies are a special treat, and each purchase is an investment in the female leaders of today and tomorrow.”
The socially-distant booths build on the partnership GNC and Girl Scouts created in 2019 through the launch of Girl Scout Cookie-inspired flavors of GNC’s AMP and Total Lean protein products.
