First Data, an electronic commerce and payment processing solutions provider, has announced new solutions that provide consumers with more secure and flexible payment options, and help retailers streamline business opportunities. The introductions include:
- the FD35 PIN Pad;
- Sales Navigation Application (SNAP!);
- OfferWise Solution;
- Rapid Comply Solution; and
- First Data products in new channels.
First Data’s new FD35 PIN Pad is a consumer-facing device designed to accept EMV cards, contactless card, mobile payments and key fobs. To help streamline the merchant’s sales process, First Data’s SNAP! application is a portable interface, delivered through the iPad2, offering a single entry point into, and fast implementation of, First Data’s product suite. The OfferWise solution is an open platform that enables publishers to attach offers electronically, such as deals, eCoupons and loyalty programs. The Rapid Comply solution is an easy-to-use online Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) and vulnerability scanning tool that can help small to mid-sized merchants achieve and maintain Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliance.
