Cabela’s Inc. is implementing Acorn Systems’ Performance analyzer in order to analyze SKU profitability. “The continued growth of Cabela’s in multiple channels such as store, catalog and e-Commerce has driven a greater need to understand true profitability to enable strategic decisions related to pricing, category management and overall business performance,” said Brian Linneman, Chief Merchandising Officer, Cabela’s, in a press statement. “Acorn’s Performance Analyzer will enable us to achieve greater SKU profitability insights to drive improved decisions as we balance financial results with product offerings for our customers.”
Acorn’s trademarked profit improvement technology will build off Cabela’s already existing systems to create new and actionable intelligence. By providing fresh insight into the true net profit of a business in a detailed and multidimensional way, Acorn’s solutions leverage a company’s existing IT infrastructure to draw data directly from existing operational and financial systems including ERP, WMS, labor management and the enterprise data warehouse.
