Roger Faridi, VP of Operations for Smart Power Systems was seeking to find out about companies’ power quality issues at the RetailNOW event and how Smart Power could resolve those issues. Power control has become micro-controller based, using the latest technology. “We cannot go with older technology that doesn’t have the ability to keep up with the new technology requirements,” he said. Cleaner power is essential, Faridi added. New products are more efficient and use less energy. Smart Power also is helping partners better understand power issues using a Power Analyzer Unit.
