Checkpoint Systems, a loss prevention and supply chain management solution provider, has added RFID support with the latest version of its HALO Internet of Things (IoT) app. The software platform supports buy online/pickup in-store (BOPIS) and other programs by sending data including order information, item location and a schedule directly to their mobile devices.
HALO captures data from connected sensors across the retailer’s entire supply chain to provide a complete view of every order. The solution is designed to automatically process data into actionable insights that can be viewed via the HALO portal, to help associates make well-informed decisions to improve performance across the store.
Some of Checkpoint’s overall capabilities include:
- Store Inventory Management: Retailers can improve their in-store inventory accuracy and on-shelf availability using RFID solutions;
- Store Operations: Real-time data capture from sensors around the store helps improve the shopping experience and reduce loss;
- Distribution Center Solutions: RFID-based solutions help retailers improve inventory accuracy at distribution centers to increase efficiency and reduce shipping errors; and
- Supply Chain Control: Retailers can track and trace stock through RFID, improving their inventory accuracy and minimizing loss.
