UWL, a global third-party logistics services provider, has launched WorldScope, a propriety supply chain data management platform. The tool is built on the CargoWise logistics software and is designed to offer shippers an easy-to-use platform that can access real-time shipment data and be tailored to specific business requirements.
Retailers can use WorldScope to create customized alerts for managing by exception, enable visual mapping of GPS-enabled vessel tracking, and harness the ability to see all container activity in a single place. The software aims to provide clarity and confidence to users throughout a shipment’s lifecycle.
WorldScope also includes the “My Alerts” dashboard, which helps retailers check for shipments that have fallen out of their expected delivery range. The platform lets retailers choose who gets to see what data, letting them maintain control over the information to keep it safe.
