PFS’ RetailConnect aims to enable retailers to fulfill ecommerce orders from brick-and-mortar stores efficiently and without disrupting ongoing store operations. The cloud-based solution offers batch picking functionality designed to automate pick, pack and ship activities, which can enable stores to function as mini-fulfillment centers in support of online demand.
RetailConnect combines an order management platform with lightweight hardware to help increase speed and accuracy. The software can enable store associates to process multiple orders at once, pack orders in an organized fashion and select the best carrier to deliver the package, all within the system.
The platform achieves this by directing store associates through pick, pack and ship processes using hardware that includes everything needed to process the order, including a label printer, RF scanner and scale. RetailConnect also offers seamless integration to ecommerce platforms, POS and distributed order management systems, with the goal of complementing an existing order orchestration process and systematically driving the fulfillment process.
