Twilio Gives Retailers A Single Console For Communication Across All Channels

Twilio, a cloud communications platform-as-a-service company, helps retailers connect with customers where they want to interact. The platform enables communication through mediums including text messages, emails, phone calls, video and chatbots.

The Twilio platform comes pre-integrated with channels like Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, SMS, voice and email to help retailers meet their customers on their own terms. The software can be integrated with existing CRM systems to help connect formerly siloed mediums and give companies a better understanding of their customers’ needs, habits and preferences.

Retailers also can measure the performance of large-scale advertisements by tracking interaction data and opt-in rates through the Twilio console. The platform aims to track calls and clicks and match them to ad campaigns, helping retailers further optimize their ad spend.

Additionally, Twilio can help retailers continue nurturing their campaigns to keep customers happy and deliver on their unique preferences. The tools let merchants send relevant messages on the channels that customers are most likely to read and respond to in order to grow loyalty and increase retention.
