Mobile solution provider Vibes has launched Mobile Wallet as a Channel, a platform designed to help retailers use native mobile wallet apps, Apple Wallet and Google Pay to deliver personalized mobile experiences for marketing and loyalty purposes. The solution builds on Vibes’ existing dynamic mobile offering with the addition of features that add real-time capabilities.
Mobile Wallet as a Channel lets shoppers download mobile passes from a brand, offering a number of benefits that marketers can use to engage with customers. Mobile passes are designed to be persistently ‘on’ and present in devices and can be updated in real time to support options such as gift cards.
Retailers also can use mobile passes to send alerts and push timely, personalized content to consumers using geolocation. The solution is designed with attribution in mind, to help retailers better understand overall ROI from their marketing and loyalty efforts.
Vibes also is rolling out Dynamic Strip Images, which will allow brands to automatically update mobile passes to change a shopper’s loyalty membership level or highlight specific products or offers.
