Sensormatic Solutions and Unacast Partner to Help Retailers Track the Entire Path to Purchase

Sensormatic Solutions has expanded its collaboration with Unacast in a partnership that will combine consumer mobility data with in-store traffic data to help retailers build shopper insight capabilities that span the entire path to purchase. The enhanced collaboration can provide retailers with a better understanding of how far their customers travel to stores and where they go before or after their visits.

Unacast’s mobility and location data capabilities will help Sensormatic IQ contextualize that information, with the goal of correlating activity to a location. The collaboration combines this shopper mobility data with in-store traffic and shopper behavior insights from Sensormatic’s Shopper Experience Solution and is designed to help retailers create more unified experiences and execute across all channels. Key insights include:

  • When and how often shoppers visit stores, rivals and complementary destinations;
  • Visitation data at the city, state, national or regional level; and
  • Year-over-year store location visitation patterns.
