Additionally, smart marketers of all sizes, from every different type of retail segment, now know that their channel strategies must include social media and mobile technology. For the 2014 Channel Innovation Awards, Retail TouchPoints will recognize retailers who are using creativity and innovation to present a unified channel front to shoppers. The award winners are ahead of the curve and are achieving business success in this increasingly competitive and challenging marketplace.
The 2014 Channel Innovation Awards will recognize the best in class retailers, based on (but not limited to) the following criteria:
- Sales gains, particularly within emerging channels;
- Meeting consumer demands with convenient cross-channel shopping opportunities, such as seamless cross channel shipping and pick up;
- Cross-channel marketing, including mobile and social strategies;
- Customer recognition across channels, including social media feedback, for those retailers that have achieved a single customer view
- Technology innovations and Integration of systems including promotion, order management and sales history
