Social Distancing Causes Videoconferencing Tool Browsing Behavior To Skyrocket 88%

The COVID-19 pandemic is a painful time for non-essential retailers, but consumer shopping patterns reveal that there are still some bright spots for the industry. For instance, the rise of the home office has caused a surge in browsing for inkjet cartridges (138%), videoconferencing tools (88%) and computer monitors (86%).

Cooped-up customers also are looking for safe ways to unwind, which has led to a 183% increase in computer speaker interest, alongside a 56% increase for graphic tablets and a 30% increase for gaming laptops. Comfort is important too, with pajama interest up 70%.
