Out-of-Stocks, Suspicions About Overpricing Derail Online Purchases

It’s no surprise that items being out of stock is the leading reason consumers abandon an online purchase, at 60%, but the next-highest reason might raise some eyebrows: 44% of the time, shoppers suspect the item is overpriced.

Another big concern for retailers: 39% ditch their purchase because of bad reviews, and 72% of U.S. consumers read reviews from multiple sources before they do make a purchase.
