Monday Christmas Complicates Holiday Shipping Deadlines

Retailers are rejoicing that Christmas falls on a Monday this year, giving them an additional weekend for last-minute sales. But the calendar will make things more complex for last-minute deliveries (and procrastinating gift-buyers). Only FedEx is offering same-day delivery options through Dec. 25; shipping deadlines for UPS and the USPS fall before or during the weekend.
