COVID-19 Boosts Subscription Enrollments 40%

Online shopping sites with subscription programs have seen a 40% increase in new enrollments as a result of COVID-19.

The vertical with the biggest spike was pet products, up 110% week-over-week thanks to dog pads, cat litter and dog food. Water filters, lawn care and air filters led home goods subscriptions to 69% growth, while food and grocery subscriptions gained 53% with snacks, coffee and bread ranking as top contributors. The 37% boost in the health and wellness category was led by diapers, wipes and vitamins.
