Evereve

The new 3,500-square-foot Evereve flagship store in Minneapolis was designed to showcase the evolution of the nearly 20-year-old women’s fashion retailer.

Designed by Studio BV, most of the materials and components of the original store were completely reimagined to soften the design and create moments of emphasis. Navy and white oak with black metal accents are used throughout the space in order to create a rich material palette that is all about contrast. Custom rugs, art and accessories by female artists add personalized, brand-aligned touches.

Arched niches throughout the store are saturated in a navy color, offering a soft contrast to the concrete floors and open ceilings. The oval-shaped island cash wrap is a key focal point and anchor element in the space, punctuated with a custom rope LED fixture.

The dressing rooms were also completely reimagined to reflect Evereve’s emphasis on the connection between customer and stylist. “We wanted the design of the dressing rooms to match the personality and care that the stylists bring to each customer at Evereve,” said Betsy Vohs, Founder and CEO of Studio BV in a statement. “We did this through soft textile draperies instead of a door. This was intentional to focus on softness and pattern and acoustic privacy. We also created new custom shelving, arched mirrors and a custom wall covering.”

The store also features dressing rooms that can double as spaces for Instagram Stories and Facebook Lives, such as the brand’s Styled by the CEO series where CEO Megan Tamte styles regular customers.
