Salesfloor Releases Storefront To Localize E-Commerce Shopping For Big Box Brands

Salesfloor, a technology platform designed to enable consumers to shop online with their local store associates, has unveiled its Storefront for Stores platform aimed at big box retailers.

With Salesfloor Storefront, big box retailers can create local versions of their e-Commerce web site for each store location. Retailers in categories such as pharmacy, sporting goods, cosmetics, home hardware and consumer electronic stores have used Storefront to personalize the shopping experience for their local customers.

Given that shopping with big box retailers online can be cumbersome, especially when there are thousands of products on a web site with very little service to assist the consumer, the service is designed to expand the role of the in-store sales associate. With the addition of Storefront, these employees are no longer limited to serving customers on the physical sales floor; they also can service the local online customer.


Salesfloor also offers a similar platform for associates, called Storefront for Associates. Instead of shopping with local stores, customers can shop with individual associates and personal shoppers.
