Elastic Path Introduces Adobe-Compatible Commerce Platform

Elastic Path Software has released two versions of its commerce solution, Elastic Path Commerce and Elastic Path Commerce for Adobe Marketing Cloud.

The Commerce platforms allow retailers to deliver advanced selling capabilities, such as merchandising, pricing, promotions and order management, to customers across every digital experience.

Additionally, they are designed to provide major benefits for both marketers and developers, including:

  • Presenting the right information with the corresponding behavior, at the right time to maximize revenue;

  • Publishing shoppable, content-rich experiences, such as lookbooks, video and brand magazines, with the ability to add products directly to the cart without leaving the content experience;

  • Taking control of product, cart and catalog pages that previously required IT involvement;

  • Providing a single, hardened point of entry, eliminating the need to expose the details of underlying systems to outside developers;

  • Adding new customer touch points or platforms without making changes to the API, lowering total cost of ownership and increasing speed-to-market;

  • Maintaining older touch points as needed while adding new platforms and innovations as they become relevant; and

  • Illustrating high performance with lower total ownership costs when deployed on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
