Capango, a mobile-first retail job matching platform, has teamed up with 3Pillar Global, a software and digital product development company, to support the launch of a flagship mobile hiring app.
The Capango app’s proprietary algorithm uses machine learning designed to match qualified job seekers with suitable employers. The app captures data points such as location, availability and skill sets to identify prospective employees at their unique locations, rather than relying on advertising to draw them in.
The app aims to help job seekers bypass the traditional resume process while accelerating the interview process for employers by allowing applicants to upload a 60-second video pitch instead. Available for iOS and Android, the solution allows seekers to “swipe right” on job matches they’re interested in and directs them to tag their skills and interests.

Capango also finalized a partnership with Shop!, a retail association with more than 350,000 job seekers who were invited to download the app.
