Global brand consultant Interbrand has promoted Josh Feldmeth to CEO of its North American division. Former CEO Lee Carpenter is stepping down after 12 years in the position.
Most recently, Feldmeth served as CEO of the New York, San Francisco and Toronto offices of Interbrand, working with clients such as AT&T, GE and UPS.
In his new role, Feldmeth will manage the New York, San Francisco, Toronto, Dayton, Cincinnati and BrandWizard offices, and will join the Interbrand Global Executive Committee. He will be based in New York and report directly to Jez Frampton, CEO of Interbrand Global.

Before joining Intebrand in 2002, Feldmeth was Principle Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. In his early days at Interbrand, Feldmeth served as Dayton’s Vice President of Strategy. In 2007, he transferred to Zürich to develop the company’s analytics capabilities across Europe. Two years later, Feldmeth became Managing Director of Interbrand Amsterdam, and in October 2010, he returned to the U.S. to work as CEO of Interbrand’s New York office.
“Those who have benefitted from working with Josh will not be surprised by the news of his promotion,” Frampton said. “Josh’s genuine passion for brands, his supreme intellect and his dynamic leadership style will be welcomed by Interbrand employees and clients alike. While he has big shoes to fill with Lee’s departure, I am certain Josh will thrive in his new position.”
