Sport Chalet, a chain of specialty sporting goods stores, has implemented an “order today, deliver today” service. The new service is available to residents and businesses throughout most of California; Phoenix, Arizona; Las Vegas, Nevada; and Salt Lake City, Utah.
“Sometimes there just is not enough time for a customer to visit our stores and this new service solves that problem,” said Craig Levra, Chairman and CEO of Sport Chalet. “After a customer makes their selection on our web site, our experts will locate the item(s) then deliver the merchandise that same day.”
In addition to same-day delivery, Sport Chalet also is offering same-day pickup for rented items. “For those customers who have rented gear from us and do not want to make the drive back to one of our stores, we will drive to their home or office and retrieve the gear for them,” Levra explained.
