U.S. Senator Mary Landrieu of Louisiana and Kathleen Strottman, Executive Director of The Congressional Coalition on Adoption, will share the stage for a joint keynote presentation during the Retail Orphan Initiative (RetailROI) SuperSaturday 2013, to be held Jan. 12, 2013 at the Price Waterhouse Cooper (PwC) offices in New York City.
All proceeds from the event will be committed to the efforts of the non-profit organization, which was formed to raise awareness and provide assistance to more than 400 million orphans and other vulnerable children around the world.The tentative agenda and sponsorship opportunities for SuperSaturday 2013 have been announced. Registration and attendance for retail executives is complimentary.
Presentations To Cover Hot Retail Trends
Following a successful event last year, the 2013 conference will feature insights from thought leaders in the marketing and IT space regarding emerging store technologies, social media, mobile and next generation analytics. Additional hot topics will be the upcoming election, as well as the first Mobile Christmas, according to a press release from RetailROI.

Attendees of the 2012 SuperSaturday represented more than 106,000 retail stores, according to the RetailROI web site. Moreover, as of August 2012, RetailROI has helped approximately 110,000 children worldwide by raising funds for charities that focus on orphan and foster care, adoption support organizations, child rescue from human trafficking and life-skills training for vulnerable children.
