Retailers have gotten accustomed to using hashtags for social media, but with Pinterest, retailers should hone in on important keywords. For example, a sports retailer in Indianapolis should focus on inventory keywords (Brooks running shoes or Adidas apparel), along with geographical location (Indianapolis).
