Web Site Performance, Supply Chain Readiness Top Retailers’ Black Friday Worries

Thanksgiving is fast approaching, but many retailers remain concerned about their performance going into the holiday season: just 52% said they were very confident in their company’s overall readiness for the peak season.

These jitters are particularly pervasive when it comes to web site performance and supply chain capabilities. Less than half of surveyed retailers said they were very confident in their web site speed (42%) and scalability (45%) going into Black Friday and Cyber Monday, while 80% said they were at least somewhat concerned about the efficacy of their supply chain throughout the weekend.
