25% Of Cyberattacks Will Target IoT In 2020

The Internet of Things (IoT) will become a target-rich environment for hackers by 2020, attracting more than 25% of all cyberattacks. With the growing number of employees using IoT and mobile devices to perform business tasks, there’s a very real danger that large amounts of sensitive data could easily fall into the hands of competitors or criminals. Already today, 60% of employees use their personal devices for work purposes, and more than 80% admit to using unsanctioned web apps for work, according to this infographic from Microsoft.
