Omni-channel retail was a hot topic at this year’s Shop.org, with retailers highlighting best practices on how to increase engagement online and in stores. During this episode of TouchPoints TV, Collin Lasko, Associate Product Manager of Volusion, discusses how the ubiquity of technology is creating new opportunities for merchants, it’s just a matter of developing the right strategy. “You really need to identify what works for business model, products and customers and filter out the rest,” Lasko said. “If you try and keep pace with everything, you’re going to get swamped. You really need to identify what your strengths and weaknesses are, and determine what strategies you can implement and third party integrations you can have with your business that are going to help supplement any of those weaknesses.”
