HP Launches Solutions For Remote Application Management And Vendor Discovery

HP has created two new solutions, HP Engage Console and HP Engage Catalog, to help retailers manage their devices and apps. HP Engage Console is designed to improve IT efficiency, while HP Engage Catalog helps connect retailers with solution providers.

HP Engage Console allows for seamless application distribution and management of retail POS devices and apps. The cloud-based solution can increase productivity by letting IT staff handle problems remotely and automating data-driven compliance checks and security alerts.

HP Engage Catalog is designed to help retailers find business-ready solutions that are complete with software applications of their choice. The tool makes it easy for retailers to discover, install and update applications on their POS devices.

Additionally, HP’s latest POS hardware is now certified with MDM services including VMware and SOTI. Independent vendor partners also have the option of procuring these services with HP hardware.
