MakerSights has released Line Efficiency, an analytics feature designed to illustrate the incremental appeal of each product within an assortment. Line Efficiency aims to provide insight into a product’s unique audience, information that merchandisers can use to make informed decisions about which items to adopt or drop, as well as identifying the right products for each channel and region.
Line Efficiency can help merchandisers increase SKU productivity and craft cohesive lines that reach the maximum number of customers with the minimum number of products while reducing overproduction of unnecessary or unwanted products. The tool can help product, merchandising and go-to-market teams handle tasking including:
- Screening for cannibalization between products and identify the colorways or styles with significant demand from important subsets of consumers;
