Holiday Shoppers More Than 2X as Likely to Buy on First Visit

If online retailers have what a holiday shopper is looking for, the odds are good that they can make a quick sale: these consumers are more than 2X as likely to make a purchase on their first visit to a site. The downside? These shoppers also are more likely to be searching for specific items versus casual browsing, and are more likely to leave a retailer’s site if they don’t find them quickly and at a competitive price.

Reactivation is key to holiday success, with 37% of reactivated customers remaining engaged post-holiday.
