Cybercrime is a growing problem for companies of all sizes, expected to cost businesses $10.5 trillion annually by 2025. In fact, if cybercrime were measured as a country, it would be the world’s third-largest economy.
The UK has a bigger problem with cybercrime than most other countries. Cybercrime density (measured as the number of victims per 1 million people) increased 40% in the UK from 2020 to 2021, and the country far outranks even the much more populous U.S. (ranked No. 2).
