Chinese Consumers Choosing U.S. Brands This Holiday Season

Online sales of U.S. brands have grown in China this holiday season, with eight times as many shoppers purchasing American products this year compared to holiday 2014. According to this infographic from Alipay, the most popular product categories include skin care, baby products, health supplements and handbags. Other good news for U.S. brands: these Chinese consumers are in their prime spending years. Just over half (52%) were born in the 1980s, and 34% were born in the 1990s.
