75% Of Millennials Prefer Texts For Deliveries, Promos And Surveys

SMS text messages are moving ahead in the communications horse race, particularly among Millennials: three out of four prefer texts for communications about deliveries, promotions and surveys. Among all consumers, 64% prefer texting over voice as a customer service channel — probably because 81% are frustrated being tied to a phone or computer as they wait to get their issues resolved. Texts also are edging out email in key areas: more than 40% of leading retailers pick SMS over email for their shipping notifications. Learn more about how terrific texts can be in this infographic from OpenMarket.
