49% Of SMBs Add New Services To Combat COVID-19 Losses

Small- to mid-size businesses (SMBs) are taking multiple paths to recover sales lost to the COVID-19 pandemic, including:

  • 49% are introducing new services/products such as delivery, house calls and mask manufacturing;
  • 41% have moved outside their traditional sales channels; and
  • 39% have ramped up marketing efforts, such as social media, to drive sales and awareness.

The majority of SMBs trying out new sales channels have leveraged an e-Commerce solution, and among SMBs that have boosted their online sales, most have seen increases in the 10% to 24% range.
