Zebra Technologies Corp. has introduced the TC25, a rugged smartphone specifically designed for the needs of small- to medium-sized businesses. The phone allows field mobility workers to scan barcodes on parts, manage routes and complete invoices.
Key features of the TC25 include:
• 2D barcode scanning that can capture barcode information even when labels are faded, damaged or dirty;

• The Zebra DataWedge pre-installed on the devices, allowing businesses to send barcode data to existing apps without requiring additional programming;
• The Zebra Workforce Connect PTT Pro voice solution, providing walkie-talkie functionality that enables instant push-to-talk calls between the TC25s and other compatible Zebra mobile devices, iPhones, iPads and select Android smartphones; and
• Power that lasts all shift, with accessories including a hand strap, holster, snap-on power pack and a snap-on trigger handle to enable a wide range of tasks with reduced strain and improved efficiency. Charging cradles can charge multiple devices and power packs at the same time.
The TC25 is available through Zebra’s existing global reseller base and a select number of mobile operators, including Telefonica Spain.
