WePay Introduces Mobile POS Solution To Integrate In-Store, Online Payments

WePay has launched a white-label mobile POS solution designed to enable platform providers to integrate in-person payments with online payments.

With WePay, providers can offer their own branded mobile card readers as an integrated part of their overall products, without having to build, maintain and certify any hardware.

For retailers running their businesses on these platforms, the WePay launch can help manage all of their sales, including in-person transactions, within their preferred platform. Additionally, offline transaction data automatically syncs with a user’s platform account, removing the need for manual data entry to achieve a complete view of their business.


The solution consists of three key components that work with platforms’ software and mobile apps:

  • Customizable card readers that plug into iOS and Android devices to accept traditional magnetic stripe cards and EMV chip cards;

  • Android and iOS software development kits (SDKs); and

  • Fulfillment services that manage reader inventory and ship custom readers directly to users with a single API call.

Users can add lines of new WePay code to integrate the solution into their software and mobile apps.
