Product discovery solution Unbxd has launched an update to its Site Search platform, which uses machine learning to assist shoppers as they find products on e-Commerce sites.
The Unbxd solution is designed to provide shoppers with a differentiated search experience on mobile, optimizing for multiple factors including diversity and freshness of search results, intelligent visual type-ahead and dynamic mobile filters.
The platform includes features such as:
Visual and guided auto complete;
Faceted search, enabling shoppers to search product type, material, color or price;
Advanced spell check;
Curated landing pages; and
Unbxd’s Merchandising Workbench allows merchandisers to further tailor the mobile shopper’s experience. They receive granular and intuitive controls, and predictive analytics on the back end. Retailers can pin products to specific positions or promote and demote products in search results.
Brands can display these offers to customers with merchandising banners, and can plan their campaigns accordingly by choosing the queries that trigger these banners. Additionally, they can add synonyms for site search to eliminate the instances of zero search results. Dynamic filters learn from the data and only show the most important filters for each query.
