TrueVUE 6.0 Monitors Store-Level Inventory Performance

Inventory management is critical to preventing out-of-stocks and keeping displays accurate and aesthetically pleasing for consumers. However, the process of counting inventory on the store floor traditionally has been a very manual and time-consuming process, which can deplete employee productivity and hinder the customer experience.

To streamline these processes, Tyco Retail Solutions has launched the latest version of its TrueVUE 6.0 software platform, which touts enterprise dashboards for real-time store performance monitoring and reporting. The solution also includes performance scorecards and exception-based reporting, so retailers can make more intelligent decisions and maximize store performance.

Data captured by the digital dashboards include:

  • Inventory cycle count compliance, progress and productivity;

  • Merchandising standards and stock conditions;

  • Replenishment needs and restocking status;

  • Inventory levels relative to store traffic;

  • Actual shrink by merchandise category, location and time of day;

  • Total store and corporate value of actual shrink.

Inventory and shrink performance metrics are published in a customized, visual and portal-like framework, presenting retailers with a real-time snapshot of the inventory landscape within each store. By collecting this data and providing insight from one dashboard, retailers can gain real-time intelligence to drive store performance and inventory ROI.
