Star Micronics, a manufacturer of mobile, POS and customer engagement technologies, has launched PromoPRNT, a tool that lets retailers create promotions that appear directly on receipts. Once the campaign is set up, the solution automatically adds incentives and bonuses to shoppers’ receipts and informs them about new deals and promotions.
PromoPRNT is powered by two features of the Star Cloud Services dashboard:

- Promo Maker, which helps retailers create and design the promotions from a number of templates. The tool is designed to make it easy to add logos, text and icons; and
- Promo Manager, which handles campaign logistics, including the duration and printer used for each coupon or promotion. The platform also gives retailers access to analytics that provide insights into the results of each campaign.
Star Micronics’ offerings also allow retailers to generate receipts in tandem with mobile devices, enabling mobile checkout. Other web-based printing solutions offered by the company include remote cloud printing, wireless cash drawer solutions, proximity-based printing and secure cash management.
