Samsung Electronics America has released the Galaxy Tab Active3, a ruggedized tablet designed with an emphasis on improving employee productivity and safety. The tool’s touchscreen can be used while wearing gloves and it can assist retail operations through Veras Retail, Knox Capture and other solutions.
Veras’ AI-powered clienteling was designed to help associates deliver personalized recommendations to better engage with shoppers. Knox Capture lets the Tab Active3 serve as a high-performance scanner on both the sales floor and inside the warehouse. Other features of the tablet include:
- Dual-screen functionality, designed to enhance customer experiences or co-worker collaborations by sharing information from the tablet up on a large monitor;
- A removable back panel for easy battery replacement, fully-charged batteries that can last up to 16 hours and a “No Battery Mode” for power without a battery; and
- An Exynos 9810 processor, 4GBRAM and up to 1TB internal storage (with a MicroSD card) to help meet the demands of digitized businesses.
